Lisa Marie Designs Unveils Lord Jeffrey Archer’s Exquisite ‘Imperial State Crown’.

Lisa Marie Designer Goldsmith, renowned for exceptional craftsmanship in timeless jewellery, is set to captivate locals and visitors alike with the display of a majestic crown at the Woodstock pop-up shop this February and March. The awe-inspiring crown, commissioned by Lord Jeffrey Archer and inspired by his novel “Traitors Gate,” has been crafted by the talented goldsmith Alan Gard, is a symbol of opulence and elegance.

I said I want to do something that is a hell of a challenge, even for someone with your knowledge and reputation. I want to produce The Crown, and I want for the laymen, like myself, not to be able to tell the difference.

~ Jeffrey Archer, Author.

The meticulously crafted ‘Imperial State Crown,’ hailed as a masterpiece of artistry and precision, will take centre stage at the Lisa Marie Designer Goldsmith show, at the Woodstock pop-up shop. This exclusive showcase provides a rare opportunity for the public to witness first-hand the extraordinary craftsmanship behind this exceptional creation.

I’ve been making jewellery since I was 15 years, seventy years, now I’ve been given the task of recreating The Crown. We’re doing it by hand because the way I was been taught was handmade jewellery, and no computers or cad designs have been used at all. I’ve made it in exactly the same way as the one was made a few hundred years ago.

~ Alan Gard, Fine Jeweller of London

With historical roots dating back to the year 1279, Woodstock holds a unique place in history as a location founded by Henry II. The town served as accommodation for Henry’s retinue of servants during his frequent visits to the royal hunting lodge at Woodstock Manor. Notably, it was within the walls of Woodstock Manor that Henry II housed his beloved mistress, Rosamund Clifford, also known as “The Fair Rosamund.” Lisa Marie Designer Goldsmith invites all to witness the crown in this historic setting, evoking a sense of regalia and timeless beauty.

The exhibition will be open from Tuesday 20th February to Saturday 2nd March at The Woodstock Pop-Up Shop, 14 Market Pl, Woodstock OX20 1TA.

Lisa Marie, a well established local Goldsmith, expressed her excitement about the opportunity to present this remarkable crown to the Woodstock community.

“I am thrilled to bring such a unique and historically significant piece to our pop-up shop in Woodstock. This crown, commissioned by Jeffrey Archer and created by the talented Alan Gard, embodies the essence of craftsmanship and luxury. It’s a privilege to share this masterpiece with the people of Woodstock and those visiting our charming town.”

In addition to the crown exhibition, Lisa Marie Designer Goldsmith will be entering into a partnership once again with Heritage & Hallmark, a collaboration recognised for its commitment to preserving and promoting heritage craftsmanship, with their exquisite jewellery designs and beautifully restored boxes, furniture and art featuring, amongst others, Dali and Picasso.

Visitors to the Woodstock pop-up shop can expect a one-of-a-kind experience, immersing themselves in the rich history and artistic brilliance that Lisa Marie Designer Goldsmith and Heritage & Hallmark bring to this vibrant town
